The ASU Climbing team (We) was founded in the fall of 2006 as a competitive team and conservation group. The team works with university Club Sports and Outdoor Programs to organize climbing competitions and other events.
The team welcomes climbers of all skill levels and strives to enhance the abilities of its members through weekly practices at the ASU climbing gym and group outings to the surrounding climbing areas.
We work closely with area access groups (Boone Climbers Coalition and Carolina Climbers Coalition) to help promote and organize events to raise awareness and funds for local climbing access and issues in the larger climbing community.
